In a matter of days, the majority of us had our workday completely turned upside down. With a lot of countries going on lockdown and too many people not being allowed to leave the house without an urgent reason, you might find yourself at a loss with your usual routine out the window and wanting to know how to be productive during quarantine.
It can be jarring, but it’s time to reframe and refocus.
I reached out to three very successful entrepreneurs to ask how we all might stay productive under quarantine despite the chaos that is surrounding us. Here are their expert tips.

He says Don’t lose focus on your goals-Still set your goals for your jobs, business force yourself to keep going forward.
Let’s see what his view on this unique time.
1.Work on Some Long-Term Projects:
Finish that project you’ve never had time to work on.
2. Make your budget:
Seeing clearly exactly where your money is going can help you feel more prepared to meet uncertain times. If you already have a budget (congratulations on being responsible), you might consider revisiting it. Are there instances where you can save? Budgeting and saving are things that take time to figure out, so take the time while you have it.
3. Spend that quality time you’ve been intending to spend:
My daughter and wife had a complain always that I never have time for them. Put away electronics and play a board game as a family. Set aside time to sit in your child’s room and listen to them talk about what’s going on in their life. I made kites and we together fly every day. What a great opportunity to proof my cooking skills, try out a new recipe, or make your family’s favorite dessert!
4. Clean that area that has been far too long neglected:
Few things are more rewarding than to know that a spot in your home has been deep cleaned, and not too many things can make you feel more productive. Now that you have some extra time cooped up inside, break out the cleaning supplies, and get to work!
5. Work on your physical health and mental health:
But there are also ways to strengthen your own immune system. Diet is one of them, and we covered that here in part one of our immunity boosting series.
Yet what you eat is just one factor. Being physically active, meditating and managing stress, and getting adequate sleep help, too
Engaging in regular physical activity is a great way to help manage stress and strengthen your immune system.
I workout at home with my best friends every day.
6. Growing your own vegetables:
“I think a lot of people don’t realize that you can grow pretty much anywhere, as long as you have dirt and a container,” Manikantan said. “It feels daunting for some people to start a garden, it feels good to grow your own food and have enough to share for other people.”
Enjoy! Hope you get outside and get some fresh air!
Take this time of inaction to assess where you are in life and identify things you need to change when life resumes a sense of “normalcy.” Setting goals is very gratifying and will feed your need to feel that you are accomplishing something meaningful.
Keep the faith. There are brighter days ahead!
